Okay, I’m almost never in the US — but this September I will be for about three weeks. So I decided to schedule a few events while I was there, namely: a workshop on blogging, a travel meetup which involves drinks, and a photowalk around the city. Want to join me? Yes? OMG yay!
It’ll be crazy, like oh god, we met online and now we’re in the same room, but then, I suspect, it’ll be really cool, because there will be wine. Or phototaking. Or workshopping. Plus it’s San Francisco which has been on my top 5, “If we move back home where would it be” list for at least three years running.
Workshop: Sept 14-15, 2013
This is my two-day workshop in San Francisco through BlogBrilliantly.com. I’m teaching about overcoming blogging plateaus and how you can use your creative energy to burst into a more productive and successful place. There is a fee for the event, see the link below for registering. I love teaching these workshops because it’s so important as a creative person to get out there and engage with other people and to just talk shop with folks who get it. If that’s you, I’d love to see you there. Email me with questions if you have them, otherwise, come to our travel meetup or photowalk happening thurs/fri before this weekend!
If you purchase tickets in THIS WEEK, you can get 20% by using the code: almostfearless when you order.
Drinks: Sept 12, 2013 8PM
I’d love to do a travel meetup — location to be determined based on how many RSVPs we get (but if you have a suggestion, happy to hear it!). Come join me for a drink, let’s swap tales, and meet other travelers. Free event.
Photowalk: Sept 13, 2013 4PM
I’d love to shoot some photos with you around the city. I’ll announce the meeting location closer to the date. You don’t have to have a fancy camera, just bring what you have, come along and let’s take some pics. I love taking photos in this city, but I’d love suggestions on places to hit. We’ll probably walk around for 2-3 hours, then maybe stop for coffee, depending on how the group feels. Free event.
I hope to see you guys! Any suggestions on venues or locations welcome!
