Write a Guest Post on AlmostFearless.com

get to the clicky click clickingSome people have been asking if I will still be going to Spain– the answer is a resounding YES! The job offer I talked about the other day would be 100% remote, so no matter what happens I will be getting on my flight on June 28th.

Here’s when you come in… During that first week in Spain, while I wrangle two dogs through airport security, fight with my husband (our traveling modus operandi) and crumble under jet lag, I will be relying on some of the very talented travel writers that visit this blog.

From June 27th - July 5th, I will be posting one (1) guest post per day. The topic is open, but needs to be related to travel. At the end of your article you can write an “about the author” section and tell us about all the cool projects your working on, and where we can find you on the web. Concerned about style, length, tone? Use this website as your guide. Keep it clean.

If you’re interested, post a comment on this post with your name, email address and website (in the contact form not in the message body) and I’ll be in touch.

Final Drafts are due by June 13th.

The rules: I pick who gets published based on my secret criteria which basically boils down to a bottle of tequila and a dart board. Also, if you and I have already talked about this (you know who you are) then don’t worry about any of this, your post is pre-approved.

There is no pay for this, but I would consider writing a reciprocal guest post in return.

Author’s Note: If you’re in the US, have a great Memorial Day three day weekend and everyone else, I will be back on Tuesday.

I would love to be a guest blogger while you jet off to Spain! Could do something specifically about France, or just about travel in general.

Hello, I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (currently a recruiter), and have experience in a handful of other countries. In two weeks I’ll have a Master’s degree in writing, it’d be nice to get some use out of it! I’d love to come up with an article for your site. I’ll be working with the elderly in Nicaragua the last couple weeks in June, perhaps I could write you something on that?

  5. Christine says:

@Tanya: Excellent! The topic is open, if you’d like to write about France, I would love to hear it… general travel articles work too. Email on the way. Thanks!

@Mistercliff: That sounds like a great idea! If you can get some pics to go with it, even better. I will send you an email. You might be cutting it close with end of June, but we’ll work something out…

(go ahead, check it out!) for Blue Water Sailing Mag. I’m a sailor and a cruiser (cruising on my own boat) and love to travel and write!

One of my buddy’s from Hype Machine sent me a link to your page. A music writer @ photographer, I am planning to go travel crazy to Europe for an music festival adventure in July… I are essentially doing the same sort of ‘free-flying’ ‘no-striengs-attached’ travel - except mine is devoted to music - discovering, watching, shooting, interviewing artists, and blogging about it…May be an interesting perspective to feature.

Hi Christine, I am a 20 yr old student preparing to study abroad in Paris this August. I have been studying the language for roughly 11 years now and have been waiting for this opportunity, you could say, for the better part of my existence. I am interested in writing a guest piece for your site, let me know if that’s a possibility!

  14. Christine says:

Everyone should have heard from me by now. At this point, I have plenty of guest posters for the week I’m away. But I will always consider additional posts for dates.

If you’re newly interested in writing a guest post, please email me at christine.gilbert@gmail.com so I don’t miss it in the comments.

    Gracias!
