I just got an interesting call from an old employer…  an offer for a job working remotely…

Leaving for Madrid in 40 days…  what would working full time change about my trip?

Much to think about, more details to come.

    You should really consider this option. Trust me, everyone who is ABLE to travel long term starts to get bored with living out of a suitcase and making great friends and leaving them after a few days. The next step in the evolution of a traveller is to realise that staying in ONE place for at least a few months is actually more rewarding. You can learn the lingo, take a class, get to know the local bar flies, etc etc. If you have a way to fund it indefinitely, then you are way ahead of the pack in having a very cool lifestyle for a very long time.

    There are a couple of websites about this like workingnomad.com and also anywired.com and locationindependent.com (no, none of them are mine).

    In short, think about the offer before you reject it.
